Cal Anderson Park, Capitol Hill, Seattle WA

Today I headed over to Cal Anderson Park on Capitol Hill in Seattle, to shoot some more fixed gear riders that I already know or that I had the pleasure of meeting on Saturday at the Rain City Fix Book photo shoot.

Although it’s January, the weather was fantastic. It was really nice to shoot during the day for once. In celebration of the good weather I have left these in color; all of the other fixed gear photos I have are in balck and white at this point.

Gear: Canon 5D, moslty used a 50mm 1.4, as well as a 28 1.8 and a borrowed 15mm fisheye (fun to use!) There is a bit of fill flash in some pictures with my beat up Canon 550EX flash which is almost totally useless.

As always, nice images. It appears that you are headed to a very nice body of work with these riders. Specifically love the images #11 and # 12 (sequenced).

    Thanks everyone!

If only I had more time to shoot for this project…right now I have 3 film projects going simultaneously as well as my wedding/commercial work.

    Never enough time.
