Back from Norway….starting a new life in Coeur D’Alene

After a mostly wonderful trip to Scandinavia, where I lost a girl but gained an extended Norwegian family, I find myself setting up a new life for myself in Coeur D’Alene, where much of my family lives.

Before my trip I was a briefly returning student at the Brooks Institute of Photography after a pretty successful go of it in Flagstaff as a newpaper photogrpaher and photo artist. If Brooks had been somewhere a little less TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL ie: anywhere outside of Southern California, I probably would still be there. But I just can’t get enough of the outdoors and the smaller and more intimate communities that exist outside of dense urban chaos. I love it here in Coeur D’Alene, and this blog will be a tool to record my progress setting up a new freelance photography business in the great northwest.
Here’s to it going smoothly!
