BIO

Outdoor Photographer + Film Maker.

I am an outdoor and travel photographer based in Seattle WA.

As a visual storyteller for the last nine years, I have worked for the New York
Times, Aurora Photos, the Associated Press and many other photo distribution
networks nationwide.

In 2006, I attended the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop in Liberty, NY, where I worked on photo and multimedia projects alongside editors from National Geographic, the Washington Post and the New York Times. At this workshop, I made business connections which would lead to multimedia projects for the New York Times and other clients.

Moving beyond still photography, I’ve worked as a cinematographer on a full length documentary, as well as writing, shooting, and producing several short documentary pieces for the web. My personal work with the Flip Video camera was featured by technology editor David Pogue of the New York times.

In my spare time, I explore the incredible outdoor recreation available in
Washington State including sea kayaking, mountaineering and rock climbing.
